my dual pentium3 550 compaq 1850 has decided to get old. If you have noticed or havent, all my domains have been dead for a bit. Its becuase when I got the server I didnt have enough disk space so I striped the RAID. in non nerd, I lost everything on the server.

Thankfully I am super smart so here it is back again and I only lost a day of IIS logs (like I care) So after some hacking kellykeeton.com is back on the air. As well as the katiekeeton.com page which is much more interesting to read then this...

I am building a new server, I still dont have RAID for it, but hell its free server. and not like you donate.

I will also look into why my page looks like ass on IE7.

Today its time I pay tribute to what i wrote off as crap pop culture.

iPhone – aside from I think its a waste of a phone, the user input (the touch thing) is amazing. good job apple

YouTube – the ability for people to express art in video with fast delivery system and the ability for people to take others work and make it new.

HarryPotter7 – the ending was very well done, wonder if I should pay for a copy.

never have I gotten a email as good as this.

“Kelly, I have a non-work related question and you may know the answer. I have guitar hero 2 for the xbox 360 and I am trying to use one of the cheat codes I found online to unlock all of the songs but can not get it to work. Do you know or heard of anyone that has been able to unlock all of the songs for the 360?

Thanks

As I see this a valid question, that any self respecting person would be able to take time to answer I did, the following appears to confirm working from a message board I found.

Cheats for Guitar Hero 2 on the Xbox 360 are entered on the main menu, where you see options for Career and Quick Play. See additional notes after the cheats list.

    Unlock All Songs
Guitar Hero 2 cheat code: Blue, Yellow, Orange, Red, Yellow, Orange, Blue, Yellow, Blue, Yellow, Blue, Yellow, Blue, Yellow, Blue, Yellow
Note: This is the unlock all songs cheat for the PAL (Europe) version of the game.

    Unlock All Songs
Guitar Hero 2 cheat code: Blue, Yellow, Orange, Red, Orange, Yellow, Red, Yellow, Red, Yellow, Red, Yellow, Red, Yellow, Red, Yellow
Note: Note: This is the unlock all songs cheats for the NTSC (America's) version of the game.

Special note about Guitar Hero 2 cheats on the Xbox 360.

    • Guitar hero cheats from the PS2 version do not work on the Xbox 360.
    • The effect of using Guitar Hero 2 cheats may or may not effect the earning of achievement points.
achievements can still be unlocked by using the above cheats.
    • Re-entering a cheat code for Guitar Hero 2 will result in de-activating the cheat.
    • You can have more than one cheat active at the same time.
    • You do not need to hold the select button to enter a cheat, simply enter it while at the main menu screen, rather quickly. It should take around three seconds to enter one of the codes.

when you just use your website and never look at the server that runs it. it will crash dump because its over used. and write gb's of data to your c drive to the point that windows wont run any more. then to make it more fun RDP wont have any room to cache data. so its basically a pain to get your server back on line. sorry.

I was going through some old files and found a poem I wrote once that I actually really like. I thought to myself when I just found it “clever”

One more day to kill

Another life to fulfill

Searching for something you hope

Finding nothing but smoke

Taking for granite what you have

Realizing that it is all sand

Thinking that she will never know

Wondering why I let her go

Wishing for a second chance

Seeing that your choice is going to last

Struggling to hold on to what you have

Trying to get more to grab

Looking for what you can do

Making no difference in me or you

Believing you have won the race

Noticing you haven’t even began to set your pace

One more day then you have time to fill

25 hours to kill

-Kelly

sadly and happily I post for my late Aunt. Kathleen Meyer sadly because her daughter and parents (my grandparents) should never have to deal with things like this. However as sad as loosing family can be Kathleen went to heaven, I told her yesterday that when I get to heaven that we would dance together, she smiled. Something people have a hard time dooing in the last few hours. Im glad I could give her a happy thought. The next thing I thought of was how weird it was, a paper I read while sitting around was about the last hours of a person. It talked about how someone would hold on till they felt like they could let go. Dealing with unfinished business. After we talked with my aunt yesterday (being the last of family to do so) she died a few hours later. Its one thing to read it, quite another to experience it. I will miss the paper fights on Christmas, help god keep a eye on me I can use all I can get. I love you and see you soon*

Kelly decides to try horseback riding, even though he has had no prior experience. He mounts the horse, unassisted, and the horse immediately springs into motion. It gallops along at a steady and rhythmic pace, but Kelly begins to slip from the saddle. In terror, he grabs for the horse's mane, but can't get a firm grip. He tries to throw his arms around the horse's neck, but he slides down the side of the horse anyway. The horse gallops along, seemingly impervious to its slipping rider. Finally, giving up his grip, Kelly attempts to leap away from the horse and throw him self to safety. Unfortunately, his foot has become entangled in the stirrup; he is now at the mercy of the horse's pounding hooves as his head is struck against the ground over and over. As his head is battered against the ground, he is moments away from unconsciousness when, to his great fortune, Frank, the Wal-Mart greeter, sees him and unplugs the horse.

So i got a comment on my blog today in the form of blog comment spam. The only thing weird about this was it wasn't boasting a under 18 web site or some mortgage company but it seems that its promoting education.

I deleted the comment to keep from getting hit like crazy with comment spam but here is the comment since it will 1) give me crazy ass google hits and 2) its funny that someone comment spams educational points.

Salvador Dali painted many versions of “Persistence of Memory” around 1931 and our favourite one naturally is this one which shows Salvador Dali’s pet llama which he obviously called “Dali Llama”.It is displayed in the Museum of Llama Art in Mount Lehman, British Columbia.

My brother and I went out to Stampede Pass which is conveniently located 30 miles from our house. a mear 40 min drive to the location where we can shoot things. With my newly obtained shotgun. I wasnt sure if i would have fun with it. Well it turns out shooing stuff is fun. So my next bright idea is as follows. The only kill we had was a spruce, sorry forest ranger bill.

So with all the news lately about the flooding in the south thought I would add a link on the topic.

here you have the trunk system or some sort of communications system for the law/military in Louisiana its a shoutcast stream so have a player like winamp ready.

and last, rare life commentary from the kelly blog…

Its interesting how people in places react to this disaster, over seas we have a tsunami that kills 50k people, takes them 20 years to recover. USA 2 years and not so many killed, no crazy looting and crap in 3rd world country. USA reduced to a area of 3rd world anarchy. I dont watch the news, its all bad any more. Here is the thing I wonder since revelations (from the bible for those that didn't catch on) basically outlines that things like this are going to become more common. If this is the way we deal with this now. all i have to say is Yikes, we are in for a crazy time I think. Yet another reason to have a buddy in Jesus

I must comment on what i think is the best show ever to be on TV i just got Scrubs Season one on DVD today (always buy form buy.com and you get it a day early. they are awesome amazon sucks) anyway i want to comment on how one TV show not only is funny but has some of the best social commentary that i have ever seen. just watching the pilot and i laughed as much as i do on a season 4 show. gotta love a show that can keep it gold from day one. i did think that the pilot was the the best i have ever seen not only keeping 100% true to the whole series but outlining what they have done all along. if you haven't ever watched the show catch it next season they seem to be wrapping it up i can see the plot line go to a end. I just hope if they end this story they start a new one with the same cast seriously people, if my life were a tv show i would let it be this one.

not to mention zach braff the only (guy) actor i would like to actually meet in real life, your asking which girl actor i am gonna pull a crazy ass one out of the hat and say Larisa Oleynik no offence to paris hilton she did get us to NY for free. She was my crush back in the day of good nickelodeon when it actually owned every channel in the world, you want to debate that? come on Pete and Pete, rin and stimpy, double dare, that agro crag, dude if i could bring back one thing from the 80’s and early 90’s it would be nickelodeon at its prime. in this post i have summed up the only things i actually loved in television history and present day. oh yea and loony toons, pee-wee, and A-Team and Knight rider, felix the cat –  just to name a few more. man i miss the days before reality TV and “desperate housewives” …sigh

woah, the gnome sold for $365 thats a dollar a day for easy payments!!  the winning bidder at least looks like some sort of collector of crap - possibly gnome related. also there was someone who was bidding up the price. they are avid paris hilton collectors. wonder if it was a hilton insider that buys hilton products back from people who swipe them or something.

(the extra 100$ was for shipping)

so i went and hung out at peter’s house for a while and they had this cool little device called a Dyna-PowerBall you might have seen them around. They are used to strengthen your forearm, and make you look like popeye the sailor man. WEll after about 3 hours of screwing around with this little contraption i decided i must own one. Not only is this a great workout for computer people keeping your dexterity up, but also it has little LED’s in it that make it glow bright blue and its rather fun to watch. this product is on kellys crap to buy list.

You can get them at REI for 30$ thats 9$ cheaper then the manufacture web page. make sure you get the powerball its the new one that is faster and has the LED’s or you can ebay them. still cant figure it out? there is movies on how it works here

I now have this nice little blog set up but am not the blogging type of person. Unlike the staff at Microsoft that is always talked about for having company secrets posted on blogs, like Microsoft just bought 100 new G5’s I dont know exactly what to blog about. The only time i read a blog is some nerd’s page that posts some way to defeat technology. I like that idea in a blog. Other then that its like reading a live journal of a co worker where you can just giggle about the personal life of another person you sort of know. I also like that idea. So i am going to start with a half ass idea of a blog that i will post nerdy shit as well as some product reviews and start trying to review all the movies i watch. Along with other shit that i find interesting. At least for the first month i am going to attempt to blog lots of shit no one cares about and see how my post count is going. if people like it and comment back i will keep it up. Otherwise i might just give up and go back to the once a month post. I do like this XML based .net and might switch my whole page to this format its real nice to maintain. so with that i will kick off this blogging fun. The more you comment back and hit count this page the more interest i have in keeping it up to date.

gotta have the First Post

This is the new code for KellyKeeton.com/blog I chose to use the DasBlog asp.net source. with a work space here its nice easy setup just edit xml for the major options. I chose this because i wanted a ASP solution that would run on IIS and have no database back end. This was compared to .text which I didn't like as much.
