So in Seattle they have shut down 3rd ave for the use of bus traffic during commute hours, there are cops on bikes to stop you from using the road and you get tickets if you do. So this morning Quinn and are on the way to work when we see a car get pulled over for use of 3rd ave. the car turns down a alley of our building that is a dead end. Then about 15 bike cops swarm (I think I heard the words “swarm!! swarm!!”) then we were sort of in the middle of it all, and the cops come blazing with guns drawn (cuz they dont know what this guy is up to) so we jetted out of that mess.

Later to walk thru when it was “clean” we saw a frat boy looking dude in the back of a car and his girlie in another. Think your morning was bad? haha this dude tried to evade a possible $101 ticket and he got to go to jail for a few hours, or even better till monday (no court today). HAHA wonder if he gets sick time for that.

costco food stand recently replaced the $1.00 pretzle with a $1.00 churro. This is unacceptable to me and I want you to comment back for a “bring back the pretzle”

TSOP on the 360!!! HOLY CRAP and what the guts look like

I would laugh if M$ put the TSOP chip there just to mess with the hackers and think they can hack it. – now do camp out at best buy?

Ok so I am giving a small music review of a Band that I have always liked – Blood Hound Gang here is my professional review of the new CD. I am unhappy with the change they have taken. BHG has been hanging out with CKY (Bam Margera) too much. I dont like the goth-rock or whatever that CKY has and listening to the new BHG it reminds me of it too much. There is only about 4 tracks on the new CD that I feel live up to the older BHG stuff. They lost the fast rhymes for some of the tracks and there is just this weird rocking out that CKY has. I just hope that in the next CD they return to the funny fast rhyme music.

So as you might know i have a large movie set up in my room allowing for Big Screen movie watching. Well this is very nice except there is a street light out my window. If you have a street light you know that its nice and a pain. Its only a pain when I don't want light. So I thought – what if i could turn off my street light at will?

Thats what I went to work doing. First one night I went out and broke open the service panel for the light, I then voltage tested the wires to figure out if I was working with 220v which I wasn't (this is good)

First step was obtaining a remote device such as this requirements are needed to be RF and able to handle 15 amps (not wanting to ever have it fry) I found one on ebay for $5

Then cutting off all the plastic and getting just the guts I tested to see if it shut off each leg of power or just the Hot (it was just the hot) so I chopped it up and ended up with this.

Light

Now was the tricky part late one night I went in and wired this into the circuit. Be aware – I cant shut off the mains so if you do this at home, your actually wiring this into a hot circuit. Don't be dumb and watch your tools and watch where the wires run when you arnt using them (cap them when your not working with the hot wires so you don't hit them)

after I had the unit plugged in and tested for voltage I covered it with waterproofing spray on wax then electrical tape. (all while hot)

Then since it was night I tested (boo yea it works) I then went to my house and it didn't work. Well after opening up the remote and finding the antenna lead (the obvious output from the RF modulator circuit) I soldered a two inch wire (antenna) on the unit to extend the ability for output. That fixed my range issue. Now I can watch movies or have fun with local kids playing soccer!

Don't try this at home.

well that didnt take long, a few google clicks and I stuck with my current style of camera just the newer version.

got a DSC-W5 from newegg (3 day shipping cheap!)

This camera is the exact camera I had before just with some updates. There is some new cool cameras coming out with some cool image processing but its still not cheap and I wanted to stick with sony since I own all sony camera gear. This way my lenses and memory sticks still work 1:1 only bummer is the limited edition black version i cant find. My old camera was black and that was cool. oh well no xbox 360 till next year

also FYI/PS on NewEgg shipping they say they are three day (just like zipzoomfly.com) however when you dont buy things from them more then once every two years. They put your credit card on pause for verification for 2 days then 1 whole day of “packing” then another day for shipping thats 3 days just to get it ready to ship. I know this is because of the $5 i paid but mostly just a FYI to the nation dont expect that the printed “3–day” means you will have it on friday. you still have the package in the time UPS ground is gonna get it to you! ha.

Kelly decides to try horseback riding, even though he has had no prior experience. He mounts the horse, unassisted, and the horse immediately springs into motion. It gallops along at a steady and rhythmic pace, but Kelly begins to slip from the saddle. In terror, he grabs for the horse's mane, but can't get a firm grip. He tries to throw his arms around the horse's neck, but he slides down the side of the horse anyway. The horse gallops along, seemingly impervious to its slipping rider. Finally, giving up his grip, Kelly attempts to leap away from the horse and throw him self to safety. Unfortunately, his foot has become entangled in the stirrup; he is now at the mercy of the horse's pounding hooves as his head is struck against the ground over and over. As his head is battered against the ground, he is moments away from unconsciousness when, to his great fortune, Frank, the Wal-Mart greeter, sees him and unplugs the horse.
